It's like glass,
Very fragile.
It's like a newborn,
So precious.
It's like a gift,
Given to you.
It's like an eggshell,
Broken.
It's like a wound,
Takes time to heal.
It's like money,
Has value.
It's like a wall,
Builds up over time.
When you sum it all up,
You get a word that
Everyone needs to be
Worthy of:
TRUST.

Just thought I'd do this out of my heart. I wanted to talk about trust so badly, I even have problems myself.
You see, I have serious trust issues, and it's actually one of the biggest flaws I have. Although the trust issues that I have are more targeted towards my parents, I decided, from the bottom of my heart, to compose this free verse, because I need to remind myself of how important and precious trust actually is.
It's time I have to realize this as a flaw.
